Computer Banc, a non-profit providing computer access for over 20 years to those who need it!
Our Mission is to provide nonprofits and schools and the families, adults, special needs individuals, seniors, and veterans they serve who are At-Risk with computer access at home or school.
Our Strategy is to engage the business community as donors of equipment, education institutions as partners in workforce development education, and other service non-profit organizations as distributors of information to the under served.
We plan to build alliances and create opportunities that foster computer availability and workforce development training throughout Illinois.
We are working with numerous companies, governments & schools, These donations to COMPUTER BANC over the past 10 years have exploded to thousands per year. Thank you, Donors!!!
Better than recycling! To re-purpose a donation breathes a whole new lifespan into a computer. New software, solid-state drive, and maintenance offer 4-7 years of continued use by our typical customer.
Donated spaces, outliving lease after lease COMPUTER BANC HAS A PERMANENT HOME. Formerly the buildings were part of Sangamo Electric, a technology company famous for WWII radar and post-war electric meters. Sangamo was owned by the world famous Bunn-o-Matic company owners.
